Picked up a Lancers’ program in her first season and guided them to the Class 3A West Region championship.

Was 14-9 with a 1.14 ERA and a miserly seven walks. Bashed five homers and drove in 26 runs with a blazing hot .507 batting average.

nAlex Aburto, Linganore, Jr., INF

The first-team All-Monocacy Valley Athletic League Chesapeake Conference selection batted .446 with two homers and 14 RBI.

nAlli Chew, Linganore, So., OF

Also a first team all-conference pick hit over .400 for the season.

nLeah Cossentino, Glenelg, Sr., INF

First-team All-Howard County pick batted a scorching .485 with 33 base hits, 20 runs and 11 stolen bases.

nErica Jardine, Thos. Johnson, Jr., C

Slugging catcher smacked five home runs and drove in 19 with a .343 batting average.

nMarie Lindberg, Century, Sr., INF

All-Carroll County pick was an intregal part of the Knights’ back-to-back Class 2A West Region title squad, powering the offense with a .479 average.

nAshley Metal, Catoctin, Sr., OF

All-around athlete was a lynchpin in the Cougars’ outfield. Batted a sizzling .508 with two homers, 20 RBI while stealing 20 bases.

nKelsey Mills, Frederick, Sr., P

The heart and soul of the Cadets’ program. As a pitcher fanned a whopping 231 batters and registered a 1.23 ERA. Batted .436 with a .718 slugging percentage and showed her speed with 14 stolen bases.

nKate Renner, Brunswick, Jr., INF

Ultra-efficient batter posted an average of .544 while driving in 19 runs with two round-trippers.

nSam Staub, Linganore, Jr., INF

Paced the Lancers with 28 RBI while batting .410.

nShannon Strube, Urbana, Jr., P

Was a standout as a pitcher and at the plate. Struck out 136 batters with an ERA of just 1.26. Was a tough out at the dish with a .378 average.

nKarson Tuck, Walkersville, Fr., INF

Burst onto the local scene, leading the entire MVAL with seven home runs. Also drove in 17 with a .386 batting average.

nLauren Wildasin, Catoctin, Sr., INF

Capped an outstanding varsity career with a batting average of .397 with 17 runs driven in. Also scored 17 runs and notched 12 stolen bases.

nJenna Zimmerman, Walkersville, Sr., INF

The only MVAL invitee to the Old Line Senior Classic All-Star game at the University of Maryland, the Lions’ standout had 18 RBI while hitting .463 and scoring 28 runs. Compiled a slugging percentage of .657.

nSarah Alpaugh, Liberty, So., C

Skilled All-Carroll County backstop hit .373.

nCasey Burtner, Middletown, So., IF

Led her team in hitting for the season at .415.

nJoy Fry, Linganore, So., OF

First-team All-Chesapeake pick helped complete a solid outfield.

nCasey Hertel, Catoctin, Sr., P

Had an effective year for the Cougars with a 14-3 record, 104 strikeouts and a 1.54 ERA.

nMarie Harshman, S.Carroll, So., IF

Made both the first-team Carroll County and MVAL teams with her play.

nLogan Keller, Urbana, Jr., OF

A first-team All-Chesapeake pick for the Hawks solidified Frank Husson’s last line of defense.

nErin McNallly, Walkersville, Soph.., P

Went 17-4 this season with a 1.93 ERA and 142 strikeouts.

nElli McCarthy, Brunswick, So., IF

No sophomore jinx here. Tabbed as a first-team All-Antietam player this season.

nEmilie McFarland, Century, So., C

Knights’ a reliable backstop was recognized as a first-team All-Chespaeke player.

nJenilyn Powers, Brunswick, So., C

Another in a line of highly-skilled MVAL catchers. First-team All-Antietam.

nEmily Reiter, Liberty, So., INF

The Lions’ sharp-eye in the field and at the plate registered a .396 batting average.

nCasey Schmidt, Glenelg, So., IF

Proved to be a tough out for opposing pitchers with a .412 batting average and 21 base hits.

nAnna Struhar, Century, Jr., P

Her arm was one of the most important parts of the Knights’ second straight region title and trip to the Class 2A state semifinals.
