The Yellow Jackets basketball camp for boys ages 7-17 will be held July 20-24 at Gwynn Park High School. Gwynn Park varsity coach Mike Glick will serve as the camp director. The Danny Hayes football clinic will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on July 11. The clinic is for players between the ages of 5-15. Contact 301-653-2814.
The 4th & Goal Football Clinic, hosted by former NFL player Cliff Crosby, will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 8 and 9 for boys ages 13-18. The Prince George's Chargers of the Metropolitan Washington American Youth Football League are seeking coaches, players and cheerleaders for the fall 2009 season. Coaches are needed for the Tiny Mite (ages 5-6), Junior Mite (6-7) and Cadet (8-10) divisions. Players ages 5-15 are needed for tackle football teams. The Chargers also seek players age 11-14 who are in seventh through ninth grades for the unlimited weight division. The MWAYFA also seeks referees.
