Here are some of the DVDs scheduled to be released Tuesday:
Knowing: A schoolgirl's predictions for major catastrophes are decoded by an MIT astrophysicist (Nicolas Cage), who finds out the hard way that just knowing when the disaster will arrive doesn't mean he'll be able to do anything to stop it.
PG-13; 121 minutes; Directed by Alex Proyas
Push: Supernaturally-gifted Cassie (Dakota Fanning), Nick (Chris Evans) and Kira (Camilla Belle) are on the run from a shady U.S. government agency, made up of similarly superpowered agents. The trio must use its powers to escape the threat.
PG-13; 111 minutes; Directed by Paul McGuigan
The Unborn: Casey Beldon (Odette Yustman) endures nightmares of an evil boy who turns out to be the possessed soul of her twin brother, who died in the womb. The demon wants to be born and enter the world of the living, so Casey's grandmother sends her to a rabbi (Gary Oldman) to perform an exorcism.
PG-13; 87 minutes; Directed by David S. Goyer
The Prodigy: Ancient China is the setting for this animated film, featuring a purple-haired kung fu expert: a girl who must rescue the prince and save the kingdom. Add to that the quirky "Master Panda," and you'll have a movie that looks like "Mulan" — if it had been animated by the folks who brought you the 1998 computer game "King's Quest 8."
PG; 78 minutes; Directed by Ericson Core
Night Train: Two passengers (Leelee Sobieski and Steve Zahn) and a conductor (Danny Glover) find out that someone on their train has died. When they search him and find a box full of their greatest desires, they decide they need to ditch the body and keep his treasure for themselves. Greed and paranoia soon take over.
R; 83 minutes; Directed by Brian King
