Frederick County enjoys a burgeoning community of artists, a number of whom display work at galleries in Frederick’s downtown during the First Saturday Gallery Walk, held on the first Saturday of each month. On that day, downtown galleries and shops stay open late.
The directory below lists display spaces for original art in the county except those that display the work of just one artist. It excludes shops exclusively selling reproductions, e.g. posters.
