History
The village of Rosemont recaptures the by-gone era of small-town communities.
This quaint town with an official population of 273 has its own elected government, consisting of a burgess and four commissioners. Officials maintain contact with the residents through a newsletter, The Rosemont Flyer, which is published periodically throughout the year.
Rosemont is just south of Brunswick and has no commercial properties. Community events take place in Merryland Park. The historic settlement has limited services within its boundaries, but the Brunswick Fire Company plans to relocate to a parcel of land within Rosemont.
