Board meeting: The board meets on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7 p.m. at the association offices, 6718 Coldstream Drive.
History
The Lake Linganore Association board of directors is a seven-person board that oversees application of the covenants for the community, which is between Frederick and New Market, nestled between Md. Route 144 and Gas House Pike.
The board meets twice a month to discuss issues brought up by residents of the Lake Linganore at Eaglehead community and the status of various infrastructure projects within the community.
Members of the LLA board are elected every two years with staggered terms. Those seven members decide who among them should serve as president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.
Thirteen different ‘‘villages“ make up the Lake Linganore at Eaglehead community. They are: Aspen, Aspen North, Audubon Villas, Audubon North, Balmoral, Coldstream, Meadows, Nightingale, North Shore, Pinehurst, Summerfield, West Winds and Woodridge. Each of these villages is represented by a village chairperson, who gives a status report to the LLA board once per month.
Today, about 2,000 homes are in the Lake Linganore villages.
