Coach of Year Steven Speck Century Led the Century boys team to an impressive 18-2 overall regular season mark to capture the Monocacy Valley Athletic League’s Piedmont Conference championship as well as the Carroll County title. Player of the Year David Lupinetti Walkersville A dominant player for the past three years, the University of North Carolina-Greensboro bound player captured two consecutive Frederick County and Region I boys singles crowns and advanced to the state quarterfinals in 2007. nJake Brooks, Century Qualified for the state mixed doubles tournament along with partner Gabby Batista. nChris Brown, Liberty Three-time Carroll County boys singles champion as well as two-time defending Region VII champ headed to Division II Neumann College in Philadelphia. nTommy Maerz, Middletown Advanced along with twin sister Emily to the state mixed doubles quarterfinals. nTim Nicodemus, Walkersville Advanced to state mixed doubles tournament with Hanna Poffenbarger. Also racked up a 17-1 record in boys doubles with partner Zach Butt. nMatt Uchino, Middletown Finished second in the Frederick County and Region I tournaments while qualifying for the state tourney. nJack Reickel⁄Tim Gower, Walkersville Formidable doubles quad won the county and region boys crowns while advancing to the state semifinals. nJohn Keller⁄Paul Hallett, Frederick Duo qualified for the state tournament by finishing second at regions. nDan Kennedy⁄Bin Yang, Thomas Johnson Went 11-1 during the regular season, finished second in the county tournament. honorable mention Andy Alger,Brunswick Michele Barini, Frederick Zach Butt, Waklersville Nichoilas Caine, Urbana Danny Deutsch, South Carroll Michaek Donovan, Linganore Chris Haugen, Brunswick Jason Manning, Century Colin McLeod, Century Mickey Poirier, Thomas Johnson Justin Ward, Century Billy Maloney (Jr.)⁄Remy Mooney (Jr.), G-town Prep
