Landon, Senior, Attack

Future Princeton Tiger posted team-high 69 points, including 40 goals, despite constant double teams. Used linebacker mentality to spearhead Landon’s first outright IAC title since 2004.

Good Counsel, 2nd year

Turned program that was once middle of Washington Catholic Athletic Conference pack into one of league’s best teams, reaching first conference championship game in school history.

Jimmy BitontiGood Counsel, Sr., A

‘‘Best athlete on our team,” according to Durkin. Catholic-bound speedster was go-to guy for WCAC runner-up.

Jake BremsGeorgetown Prep, Sr., D

Big Notre Dame commit scooped 67 ground balls for IAC regular-season champ. Also U.S. Lacrosse Academic All-American.

Steven BurkeBullis, Sr., GK

Johns Hopkins-bound netminder simply kept Bullis in games this year, stopping an awesome 74 percent of shots on goal.

Brian CaseyGeorgetown Prep, Jr., A

Filled shoes of last season’s Player of the Year, Ryan Shuler, with 37 goals, including triple-overtime game-winner vs. Landon.

Bennett CordGaithersburg, Jr., A

Repeat first-team member was county’s most proficient finisher, racking up unbelievable 112 points, including 62 goals.

Trevor CurtinGaithersburg, Sr., M

Captained Trojans for second straight year, and was force all over field, totaling 35 goals and 30 assists.

Bryce DabbsGood Counsel, Sr., M

Technically flawless middie had big games when Falcons needed them. Scored twice in conference final against DeMatha.

C.T. FisherLandon, Sr., GK

One of top recruits in nation, future Georgetown stopper came on especially strong late in season for IAC’s top team.

Mike FlanaganGeorgetown Prep, Sr., D

Princeton-bound defender logged team-high 78 ground balls, was possibly the conference’s premier shutdown back-liner.

Jon GoldbergBethesda-Chevy Chase, Sr., GK

On best team in school history, was driving force in net. Also made 26 saves in regional final against Wootton.

Long stick middie wreaked havoc on offense and defense, has already committed to Maryland.

Jordan MontesanoWootton, Sr., A

Heart and soul of 4A-3A West Region champs. Undersized, but quick and creative around net, with radar-like passing ability.

Josh OffitLandon, Jr., M

Jack of all trades scored 24 goals, logged 26 assists for IAC champs; picked up 56 ground balls and won 37 of 48 face-offs.

Future Division I back-liner at Fairfield (Pa.) University led 4A-3A West’s top defense.
