Built program from ground up when school opened in 2006. Guided team filled with elite sprinters to Coyotes' first state championship in any sport.

Won 3A state title in 10.93 seconds. Also ran to victory in 3A West Region meet; second at counties.
Jonathan Haughton, Blair, Sr., 200 meters
Repeat first-teamer won county, regional, state meets. Ran county-best 21.86 in state finals.
Joseph Woiwode, Georgetown Prep, Jr., 400 meters
Garnered IAC (49.29) and MD/DC Private School State Meet (49.20) championships.
Wayne Bartholomew, Quince Orchard, Sr., 800 meters
LaSalle University signee ended career as 4A West Region champion, runner-up at 4A states (1:55.35).
Ramsey Chapin, Georgetown Prep, Sr., 1,600 meters
Ended career as three-time IAC champion in both 1,600- and 800-meter runs.
Solomon Haile, Sherwood, Sr., 3,200 meters
University of Arkansas signee capped outstanding two-year career with records, titles in cross country, track.
Jonathan Hale, Whitman, Sr., 110 hurdles
Saved best for championship meets, winning 4A West Region in 14.64 after second at counties.
Malcolm Wyche, Paint Branch, Sr., 300 hurdles
Hurdled way to county title while placing second at regionals, third at 3A states.

Super speedy team won 2A state (42.49) and regional championships, after finishing runner-up at counties. County-best time came at regionals.

Impressive in sweeping county, regional, Class 4A state meets. Best run came in state championship (3:18.98).

Saved best performance for last, by running 7:55.50 — 10 seconds clear of field — to capture 3A state championship.
Rico Taylor, Wheaton, Sr., High jump
County and regional champ was runner-up at 3A states. Jumped season-best of 6 feet, 6 inches on April 21.
Owen Cain, Gaithersburg, Sr., Long jump
All-around athlete earned regional, county championships, placed third at 4A states, where he jumped season-best 21 feet, 8.5 inches.
Marcus Willacy, Paint Branch, Sr., Triple jump
Regional, 3A state champion broke 12-year-old 3A state record with hop, skip, jump of 47 feet, 9.75 inches.
Sean Stanley, Gaithersburg, Sr., Shot put
Penn State football signee ended career as five-time state champion, lone member of 60-foot club.
Marcus Brown, Quince Orchard, Sr., Discus
Broke out during senior campaign, captured 4A state discus title (171 feet, 6 inches), second in shot put.
Anhtuan Nguyen, Gaithersburg, Jr., Pole vault
County, regional champion was by far county's best, vaulting 12 feet at 4A West Region meet.
