Require English, save tax dollars

Kudos to Frederick County for declaring English as its official language. It’s about time this subject has been addressed.

The reasoning behind this declaration is to save tax dollars that have been spent on printing countless documents in both English and Spanish. What a great idea!

How about Montgomery County? How many tax dollars can we save if we did the same thing?

There is no excuse for not learning English. Check out The Gazette’s Community Calendar. Often free English classes are listed.

The majority of American’s ancestors came from non-English speaking countries, and they learned English because they had to.

Come on Montgomery, let’s get going. We would all appreciate lower taxes.
