County police reports

The following is a summary of incidents in the upcounty to which the Montgomery County Police responded recently. The words "arrested" and "charged" do not imply guilt.
Aggravated assault
- On March 26 at 12:30 p.m., at Northwest High School, 13501 Richter Farm Road. The suspect and victim were arguing when the suspect began to punch and kick the victim.
Armed robbery
- On March 24 at 12:19 p.m., at the 7-Eleven, 6848 Laytonsville Road in Laytonsville. The four suspects entered the business, displayed weapons and removed cash. The male suspects were apprehended.
- On March 30 at 12:51 p.m., at Rite Aid, 19927 Century Blvd. in Germantown. The suspect approached the counter and gave the pharmacist a prescription for Oxycotin, then displayed a handgun. After obtaining the Oxycotin, the male suspect left the store and headed toward Century Boulevard.
Strong arm robbery
- On March 25 at 6:15 p.m., in the 26000 block of Brigadier Place in Damascus. The adult male victim was walking into his apartment building when the suspects approached. A suspect began to punch the victim in the face and they obtained property and fled. Two suspects were arrested.
Sex assault
- On March 26 in the 11300 block of Halethorpe Terrace in Germantown. The male suspect forced the unknown victim to perform a sex act and fled.
Vehicle larceny
- Unit block of Locbury Court in Germantown, at an unknown time between March 28 and March 30. Vehicle left unlocked, CDs, cologne taken.
- 19400 block of Ridgecrest Drive in Germantown, between March 28 and March 30. Broke window, nothing taken.
- 12800 block of Locbury Circle in Germantown, between March 28 and March 30. Vehicle left unlocked, GPS unit, purse taken.
- 12900 block of Churchill Ridge Circle in Germantown, between March 28 and March 30. Vehicle left unlocked, CDs taken.
Commercial burglary
- Butlers Orchard, 22222 Davis Mill Road in Germantown, at 4:07 a.m. on March 25. Officers responded for an alarm call and found the door forced open. Owners reported property missing.
- Moyer and Sons Moving Company, 13050 Shawnee Lane in Germantown, between March 27 and March 29. Forced entry, property taken.
- Calvary Lutheran Church, 19000 Darnestown Road in Darnestown, between March 23 and March 26. Forced entry, property taken.
Residential burglary
- Valley Bend Court in Germantown, between March 23 and March 26. Forced entry, property taken.
- 11600 block of Scarlet Leaf Circle in Germantown, between 11:35 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. on March 28. The victim saw the male suspect enter his open garage and take a bicycle.
- 13600 block of Spinning Wheel Drive in Germantown, at 10:30 a.m. on March 25. The victim heard a bang and saw the suspect in his foyer. The victim then told the suspect to leave. Nothing taken.
- 19400 block of Ridgecrest Drive in Germantown, between 7:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. on March 27. No signs of forced entry to apartment, property taken.
- 18300 block of Bubbling Spring Terrace, between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on March 23. Forced entry, property taken.
- 18900 block of Falling Star Road in Boyds, between 7:30 a.m. and 5:56 p.m. on March 23. Forced entry, property taken.
- 14000 block of Gallop Hill Terrace in Germantown, between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. on March 17. Forced entry, property taken.
- 13900 block of Bromfield Road in Germantown, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. on March 30. Forced entry, property taken.
- 13800 block of Rockingham Road in Germantown, at 12:05 p.m. on March 30. Forced entry. Suspects arrested on the scene.
