A Prince George’s man was arrested Tuesday in the killing of a county music producer.

Washington police arrested Neiman Marcus Edmonds, 19, of Upper Marlboro, on a warrant from Prince George’s County police.

County police said Edmonds could be one of several people involved in the Oct. 13 murder, when Raymond Brown, known in the local music scene as Scottie Beats, was shot and killed in the early morning hours after his car was taken from his Mitchellville driveway by a tow truck driver.

Prince George’s Cpl. Arvel Lewis said police could not divulge information about whether there was a connection between Edmonds’ and Brown since other suspects could be arrested in the ongoing investigation.

‘‘There are other players involved, so we’re not going to release that kind of information,” Lewis said.

After the October shooting, it was revealed that Brown called 911 when his vehicle was being taken out of his driveway, and was told by emergency dispatchers to call back later that morning. Three Prince George’s emergency communications employees were put on leave shortly after the incident. The communications operation also overhauled its procedures.
