Eateries throughout Silver Spring will be opening their doors with special fares for the area’s second annual Restaurant Week Monday through April 13.

Participating restaurants will offer fixed-price lunches at $12 and dinners will cost $22 to $30. Special menus will be put together by the establishments, and most of the eateries will also be offering their standard menus at regular prices.

‘‘Last year, I was on the floor all the time. There were people from D.C. and Virginia ... new guests we don’t normally have. ... That’s the whole focus of Silver Spring Restaurant Week,” said Spiro Gioldasis, the general manager at Mrs. K’s Toll House Restaurant. ‘‘I think it’s going to bring even more people now. ... It’s a great opportunity for people, and a great deal.”

Other participating restaurants include Abol Ethiopian Restaurant, Austin Grill, Blair Mansion Inn, Ceviche, Cubano’s Eggspectation, El Aguila Restaurant, Golden Flame Restaurant, Jackie’s Restaurant, McGinty’s Public House, Nicaro, Olazzo, Red Dog Café, Redrock Canyon Grill and Thai at Silver Spring.

The event is sponsored by the Silver Spring Regional Center, Downtown Silver Spring, the Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce, Peterson Management and The Washington Post. For more information about the restaurants participating, visit www.silverspringdowntown.com.
