City Police Report

The following is a summary of incidents to which Rockville City Police responded during the past few weeks. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Illegal Drug Arrests

*March 19, 9:25 p.m., Luis Enrique Rayo, 23, of Rockville was arrested for alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance (marijuana) and alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 800 block of Bradley Avenue.

Assault Arrests

*March 19, 9:45 a.m., Marquis Ahmed Peay, 18, of Rockville was arrested for alleged second-degree domestic assault following a complaint in the 200 block of North Van Buren Street.

*March 20, 10:50 p.m., Cynthia Grayson, 39, of Rockville was arrested for alleged second-degree domestic assault following a complaint in the 1200 block of First Street.

Vandalism Arrest

*March 10, 9:40 a.m., Bernard McCeney Hawkins, 45, of Gaithersburg was arrested for alleged malicious destruction of property and alleged possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance paraphernalia following a domestic dispute complaint in the 1300 block of First Street.

*March 20, 10:48 a.m., male juvenile, 13, of Gaithersburg was arrested for alleged malicious destruction of property following a complaint in the 14500 block of Avery Road. The juvenile was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released to the custody of his father.

DUI Arrests

*March 16, 5:05 a.m., Lauren Frances Welch, 21, of Bladensburg was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Frederick Road and Watkins Pond Boulevard.

*March 18, 12:55 a.m., Roberto Armando Samanamud, 31, of Chicago, Ill., was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Rockville Pike.

*March 19, 12:02 a.m., Santiago Hernando Franco, 35, of Rockville was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Baltimore Road and Taylor Lane.

*March 21, 11:05 p.m., Alfredo Marino, 40, of Germantown was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road.

Other Arrests

*March 18, 8:30 to 9:40 a.m., Idris A. Nasser, 20, of Silver Spring was arrested for allegedly disturbing the peace, allegedly trespassing and two counts of alleged disorderly conduct following a complaint in the unit block of Mannakee Street.

*March 19, 8:57 p.m., Leslie Wheeler, 45, of Rockville was arrested for allegedly trespassing following a complaint in the 200 block of West Montgomery Avenue.

*March 20, 3:45 p.m., Daniel Greg Wyatt, 21, of Takoma Park was arrested for allegedly furnishing alcohol to minors; and Luigi Domenico Canali, 20, of North Potomac; Claire Michelle Waterhouse, 19, of Potomac; a female juvenile, 17, and William Dale Reed, 20, both of Rockville; and Thomas Michael Steinbach, 19, of Temple Hills, were arrested for alleged underage possession of alcohol following a complaint in the 1100 block of Grand Champion Drive. Wyatt, Canali, Waterhouse, Reed and Steinbach were issued citations and released at the scene. The juvenile was issued a citation and released at the scene to the custody of her mother.

Thefts

*March 7, unit block of Southlawn Court, unknown suspect(s) took four laptop computers from an unattended vehicle.

*Between March 11 and 17, 100 block of First Street, unknown suspects took building supplies from a construction site.

*March 14, 4:45 p.m., unit block of Maryland Avenue, unknown suspect(s) took blender and money from a retail store.

*March 15, between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., 1200 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) took several dozen iPods from an electronics store.

*March 18, between 3:57 and 4:07 p.m., 200 block of Meadow Hall Drive, unknown suspect(s) took a purse, accounting books, computer software and a laptop charger from a library.

*Between March 18 and 19, 900 block of Lincoln Street, unknown suspect(s) took two GPS systems from an unlocked unattended vehicle.

*Between March 18 and 19, 900 block of Lincoln Street, unknown suspect(s) took money from an unlocked unattended vehicle.

*Between March 18 and 19, 700 block of Mapleton Avenue, unknown suspect(s) took a wallet and a folder containing checks from an unlocked unattended vehicle.

Burglaries

*Between March 16 and 17, 200 block of Cork Tree Lane, residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access through an unlocked garage door, entered an unlocked vehicle and took money.

*March 18, 12:50 p.m., 3000 block of Windy Knoll Court, residential, unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry through a rear sliding glass door.

*March 18, between noon and 12:15 p.m., unit block of Feather Rock Place, residential, unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry through a rear basement door.

*March 18, 8:15 p.m., 600 block of Lofstrand Lane, commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by breaking through a rear door of a restaurant and took money.
