Johns Hopkins University
Johns Hopkins University has offered a glimpse of what its Belward life science campus might look like once 4.5 million square feet of research and academic space is built on the 107-acre farm, as called for in the pending Gaithersburg West master plan. This design concept faces southeast and shows Great Seneca Highway going below Muddy Branch Road in the foreground. The Corridor Cities Transitway shown running up the middle of Muddy Branch is for illustration only; state officials have yet to decide its alignment.
