Prince George's County police have arrested an Adelphi man in connection with a stabbing death Feb. 26 in Langley Park.
Joyner Rene Galdmez Paz, 23, of the 2200 block of University Boulevard was arrested Friday in the death of Jorge Humberto Flores-Morales, 33, of the 8100 block of 15th Avenue in Langley Park, according to police reports.
Paz has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond at the Prince George's County Department of Corrections facility in Upper Marlboro.
Police found Flores-Morales in the 2100 block of Guilford Road with a stab wound to his upper body. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Initial reports stated police responded to a car crash at the scene.
However, Flores-Morales was found lying on the ground, and his death is not connected to a car crash, Prince George's County police spokesman Evan Baxter said.
