Police seek Clinton breaking-and-entering suspects

Prince George’s County police investigators are searching for the identity of at least three men who broke into an auto body lot Jan. 30 between midnight and 6 a.m., according to a police news release.

The three suspects broke into the Clinton Auto Body Shop, located at the 7400 block of Old Alexander Ferry Road. They obtained the keys to four vehicles and drove them from the lot. Three of the vehicles were recovered in Washington, D.C.

Investigators have received reports of similar break-ins in the area and are looking into the possibility that these suspects are involved. The suspects are described as black males in their teens. They all were wearing black hooded sweatshirts and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspects is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s District V Investigative Section at 301-868-8773. Callers wishing to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS. A cash reward is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
