Kensington police report

The following is a summary of incidents in Rockville to which the Montgomery County Police responded recently. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Bethesda District

Rockville District

Aggravated assault

*On Jan. 17: At 5:11 p.m. at the Coca-Cola plant, 861 E. Gude, Drive in Rockville. The suspect and victim work together at the facility. A knife was used to threaten. No one was injured.

Graffiti

*On Jan. 15: In the parking garage at 215 N. Washington St. in Rockville. Purple paint was used to write ‘‘Reidy Art 11” and ‘‘Angel” in the stairwell and a group of lines and swirls were found in four other locations. Orange paint was used to paint unknown designs in several places in the garage.

Bank robbery

*On Jan. 16: At 9:35 a.m. at the Wachovia Bank, 404 King Farm Blvd. In Rockville. Armed suspects entered wearing black ski masks and gloves. They obtained cash and fled in a vehicle. The suspects were described as males. One was armed with a handgun. The suspect vehicle was described only as a silver, two-door.

Strong-arm robbery

*On Jan. 18: At 3 p.m. at Claggett Drive and Lewis Avenue in Rockville. The victim had just gotten off a school bus when the suspects approached. The suspects took personal property and fled. Suspect No. 1 was described as a Hispanic male, 15, 6 feet tall, 150 pounds, thin build, white shirt, blue jeans. Suspect No. 2 was described as a black male, 15, 6 feet 2 inches tall, 165-170 pounds, thin build.

Stolen vehicle recovered

*On Jan. 15: At 6:48 p.m. in the 200 block of Ridgemont Avenue in Rockville. A 1994 Ford Taurus stolen from Prince George’s County on Jan. 10 was found with a tampered with ignition.

*On Jan. 21: At 8:59 a.m. at Redland Automotive, 15872 Redland Road in Derwood. A 2003 GMC Savannah was taken from Fairfax County on an unknown date and was abandoned in the parking lot. Method of theft is unknown.

*On Jan. 15: At 2:12 a.m. in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike by Fuddruckers. A 2001 Dodge Neon stolen from Washington, D.C., on an unknown date was recovered by Rockville City Police Department. The ignition had been tampered with.

*On Jan. 16: At 4:23 a.m. in the 12000 block of Rockville Pike by Hudson Trail Outfitters. A 1996 Ford Escort stolen from Washington, D.C., on Oct. 21. The method of theft is unknown.

Vehicle larceny

*4900 block of Macon Road in Rockville at 12:15 p.m. on Jan. 17. Forced entry; property taken. The suspect was described as a male, 20-30. The suspect vehicle was described as a white truck.

*5600 block of Hogenhill Terrace in Rockville, between 12:30 and 2:35 p.m. on Jan. 16. Entry unknown; property was strewn on the ground, and it is unknown if anything was taken.

*500 block of Meadow Hall Drive in Rockville, between 12:30 and 2:35 p.m. on Jan. 16. Entry unknown; property was strewn on the ground, and it is unknown if anything was taken.

*10000 block of Nantucket Terrace in Potomac, between 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 15 and 9:15 a.m. on Jan. 16. Entry unknown; property taken.

*10800 block of Nantucket Terrace in Potomac, between 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 15 and 8:15 a.m. on Jan. 16. Entry unknown; property taken.

*10300 block of Holly Hill Place in Potomac, between 10 p.m. on Jan. 15 and 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 16. Entry unknown; property taken.

Commercial burglary

*American Legion, 2013 Veirs Mill Road in Rockville, at 1:40 a.m. on Jan. 18. Forced entry; property taken.

*Waygoose, 33 Maryland Ave. in Rockville, at 7:35 a.m. on Jan. 19. No forced entry; property taken.

*Starbucks, 1621 Rockville Pike in Rockville, between 10:45 p.m. on Jan. 19 and 6 a.m. on Jan. 20. Forced entry; property taken.

Residential burglary

*100 block of King Farm Boulevard in Rockville, between 9 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 18. Entry unknown; property taken.

*700 block of Elmcroft Boulevard in Rockville, at 7:54 p.m. on Jan. 19. No further details available.

*At a vacant apartment at 747 Monroe St. in Rockville at 6:40 p.m. on Jan. 17. A homeless man, 18, was located inside. Unknown if property was taken.

*12000 block of Montrose Village Terrace in Rockville, at 2:57 a.m. on Jan. 19. The suspect forced entry. The resident interrupted the suspect. The suspect fled. The suspect was described as male.

*12000 block of Montrose Village Terrace in Rockville, at 3:07 a.m. on Jan. 19. No forced entry; property taken.

*7800 block of Whiterim Terrace in Potomac, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. on Jan. 15. Forced entry; property taken.

*6700 block of Bonaventure Court in Bethesda, between 6:30 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. on Jan. 15. Forced entry; property taken.

*10800 block Rock Run Drive in Potomac, between 11 a.m. on Jan. 19 and 2:15 a.m. on Jan. 20. No forced entry; property taken.

*8100 block of Paisley Place in Potomac between Jan. 17 and Jan. 21. Forced entry; property taken.

Wheaton-GlenmontDistrict

Strong-arm robbery⁄purse snatching

*On Jan. 16: At 5:25 p.m. in the area of Weller Road and Barbara Road in Wheaton. The adult female victim was approached from behind by the suspect who snatched her purse and fled toward Bushey Drive. The suspect was described as a black male, 25-30, 5 feet 8 inches tall, short thin build, close cropped hair.

Residential burglary

*11200 block of East Avenue in Kensington on Jan. 16. A homeless man was arrested.
