Terry Lee Hardy Jr., 45, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Poolesville, died Jan. 19, 2008, at his home.

Born Feb. 16, 1962 in Annapolis, he was the son of Peggy Hardy Corbin of Falling Waters, W.Va. and the late Terry L. Hardy Sr. and the stepson of John Corbin.

He was the husband of Anne B. Hardy of Dunedin, Fla.

Mr. Hardy was a 1980 graduate of Poolesville High School. He worked for several years at his family’s dry cleaning business in Poolesville before moving to Florida.

Survivors in addition to his wife, mother and stepfather include two brothers, John Hardy of New Windsor and Russell Hardy of Frederick; one sister, Karen Gordon of Mount Airy; mother-in-law, Kirsten Brinch of Dunedin, Fla.; sister-in-law Ditte Shafer of Damascus; two step-sisters, Kerre Young of Arlington, Va. and Kristan McCray of Wendell, N.C.; grandmother, Winnie Settle of Austin, Texas; two uncles, Pat Settle of Zebulon, N.C. and Ronald Muhlen of Frederick; four aunts, Drema Fodor of Follansbee, W.Va., Colleen Shaffer of Allentown, Penn., Naima Rauam of New York, N.Y. and Lubna Zeidan of Austin, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by one aunt, Billie June Muhlen; grandfather, Billy Settle; grandmother, Elizabeth Settle; and grandfather, Arthur Perry.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 9 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
