Frosh honored in Annapolis

The unpaid fellowship includes a formal presentation to the university and surrounding community. Frosh will also meet with students in Salisbury and Annapolis.

Frosh currently chairs the Senate’s Judicial Proceedings Committee. He is a Montgomery County public school graduate, with degrees from Wesleyan University and Columbia University Law School.

Leggett seeks advisory board members

County Executive Isiah Leggett is taking applications for six seats on the Western Montgomery County Citizens Advisory Board. Two of the vacancies must be filled by area business representatives and four by residents.

The 15-member board represents residents and businesses in Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Friendship Heights, North Bethesda, Glen Echo, Garrett Park, Cabin John and Potomac. The board advises the county executive, the County Council and the director of Bethesda-Chevy Chase Services Center on topics including transportation, public safety, environment and human services.

Members serve an unpaid three-year term and contribute roughly six hours per month.
