Farmer apologizes for spill

Frederick County workers run a water line from a hydrant in Waterside to a hydrant in Walkersville Tuesday. A 6-inch pipeline from a manure lagoon to holding tanks broke for the second time in four days on Saturday, sending cow manure into Glade Creek, contaminating the water supply for 2,800 households.
