County Police ReportThe following is a summary of recent incidents in the First (Rockville) and Fourth (Wheaton-Glenmont) districts to which the Montgomery County Police responded. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt. First District Armed robbery *On Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m., at Parklawn Drive and Randolph Road in Rockville. Victim accosted by two males, one of whom may have been armed with a gun. The assailants took property from the victim and fled. One robber is described as Hispanic, wearing baggy black jeans and red shoes. The second is described as wearing black baggy jeans and black shoes. Graffiti *On Jan. 10, in the 11800 block of Charles Road in Rockville. Red paint was used to write ‘‘Bloods” on the sidewalk in front of a house. Possibly gang related. Theft *1900 block of Lewis Avenue in Rockville, Jan 11. Two firearms were stolen. *Tower Oaks Boulevard in Rockville on Jan. 3. Several spools of cable stolen. No further details. Vehicle theft *1042 Rockville Pike in Rockville, Jan. 10. A man took a vehicle left running unattended outside a store, crashed and fled on foot. *1396 Rockville Pike in Rockville, between Jan. 12 and 14. Vehicle has been recovered. Vehicle theft arrest *Stolen vehicle recovered in the area of West Edmondson Drive and Wootton Parkway in Rockville, at 3:15 a.m. Jan. 14. A black 2006 Acura had been stolen from Cabin John Park earlier in the day. Four juveniles, ages 13-16, were arrested. Vehicle larceny *Shady Grove Metro in Rockville, between 8:20 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. Jan. 10. Forced entry; property taken. *194 Halpine Road in Rockville, in the second and fourth levels of a public garage, between 1:30 a.m. Jan 12 and 9:30 a.m. Jan. 13. Forced entry; property taken. Some property was recovered in D.C. *198 Halpine Road in Rockville, in a parking lot, between 5 p.m. Jan. 12 and 1:45 p.m. Jan. 13. Forced entry; property taken. *Twelve thefts from vehicles in the North Potomac area between Jan. 9 and 10. Forced entry to one; others were unlocked. Property taken in all instances. *Several thefts from vehicles, two vehicles stolen and several vandalisms, Jan. 12 and 13. Also, eight reports of vandalism, either graffiti or destruction of mailboxes. Commercial burglary *Direct Office Furniture, 405 East Gude Drive in Rockville, Jan. 14. No further details. *Upscale Resale, 1075 Rockville Pike, Jan. 15. No further details. Residential burglary *1200 block of Schuylkill Road in Rockville, at 3:59 a.m. Jan. 9. No forced entry. A 33-year-old woman from Rockville was arrested on the scene. *10300 block of Procera Drive in Rockville, between 7:10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Jan. 8. Forced entry; property taken. *12200 block of Devilwood Drive, on Jan. 15. No further details. Fourth District Attempted robbery *On Jan. 11 at 7:10 p.m., at Veirs Mill Road and Centerhill Street in Wheaton. Three men accosted a female and threatened her with a knife. The victim resisted and sustained a minor injury. The assailants are described as black, 18-25 years of age. Indecent exposure *On Jan. 8 at 7:40 p.m., outside Wheaton High School, 12601 Dalewood Drive. A man exposed himself to a female who was working inside the school. Burglary *13400 block of Turkey Branch Parkway in Aspen Hill, between 11 p.m. Jan. 14 and 8 a.m. Jan. 15. Forced entry to shed; property taken. *3500 block of Hargo Street in Glenmont, between 4 a.m. Jan. 9 and 4:30 a.m. Jan. 10. Forced entry to shed; property taken. Residential burglary *Unit block of Lindenwood Court in Olney, Jan. 9. Forced entry; property taken. *3600 block of Old Baltimore Road in Olney, early morning on Jan. 12. Possible suspect identified. *3600 block of Pear Tree Court , between 8:30 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. Jan. 11. Forced entry; property taken. *5000 block of Adrian Street in Aspen Hill, between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Jan. 14. Forced entry; property taken.
