U.S. marsals arrest Greenbelt man in infant’s death Friday, Jan. 27, 2006 E-Mail This Article | Print This Story by Michael Zimmerman Staff Writer U.S. marshals have arrested a Greenbelt man in connection with the death of his girlfriend’s daughter.
Tywon Ray Renwick, 21, of Greenbelt is in the District awaiting extradition to Maryland on charged of child abuse and first-degree murder.
Greenbelt Police officers responded at 4:58 p.m. on Jan. 19 to the 9100 block of Springhill Lane for a report of an unconscious person.
Upon arrival, Prince George’s County Fire Department personnel notified the officers that they were transporting an unresponsive 13 -month old child to Doctor’s Hospital in Lanham.
At 5:42 p.m., a doctor in the emergency room pronounced the child, Angela Coleman dead.
On Jan. 20, the medical examiner determined that the child’s death was a homicide by blunt force trauma.
