The following is a summary of incidents in eastern Montgomery County to which Montgomery County Police responded. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Wheaton-Glenmont district

Armed robbery

*Dec. 19: Three teens, one armed with a knife, took property from a man 6 p.m. in the 2500 block of Ennalls Avenue. The teens were black; no further description was provided.

Strong-arm robbery

*Dec. 23: Three teens beat and robbed a man about 12:15 a.m. at Pear Tree Court and Connecticut Avenue. Witnesses said the teens ran into the adjacent apartment complex. The teens were black; no further description was provided.

*Dec. 18: Two men knocked a victim unconscious and took property 7:35 p.m. at Andrew and Edwin streets. The men were black; no further description was provided.

*Dec. 23: Two men robbed a male victim about 5:25 p.m. in the 3800 block of Brightview Street. The men were black; no further description was provided.

Aggravated assault

*Dec. 23: A supermarket store employee was stabbed in the leg by an alleged shoplifter 10:30 a.m. after the employee had wrestled the shoplifter to the ground. The man fled south on Georgia Avenue. Police provided no details on the weapon used or the injuries to the victim.

The man who stabbed the victim was black, between 45 and 50 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall and weighed between 150 and 160 pounds. He was bald and had a beard.

Arrests

*Dec. 19: A 19-year-old has been arrested in connection with a handgun robbery of a juvenile’s jacket 2:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Norwood Road. Another suspect has been identified.

*Dec. 20: A suspect was arrested in connection with a commercial armed robbery 10:20 p.m. at the Georgia Avenue Market, 13623 Georgia Ave.

*Dec. 23: A suspect was arrested in connection with a carjacking and robbery 3 a.m. near the Amherst Avenue 7-Eleven. Police said the suspect was riding in the victim’s car, then displayed a weapon, assaulted the victim and fled in the vehicle.

Residential burglaries

*Catoctin Court, unit block, between 10:15 p.m. Dec. 19 and 9:30 a.m. Dec. 20. Forced entry; property taken.

*Catoctin Court, unit block, between Dec. 16 and Dec. 21. Forced entry into vacant house.

*Cannes Lane, 4500 block, at multiple times since Dec. 11. No forced entry; property taken.

*Frankfort Drive, 4300 block, 7:20 p.m. Dec. 21. Front door unlocked; property taken. Police have identified a suspect.

Vehicle thefts

*Eight vehicle thefts were reported within the period from the Wheaton-Glenmont District. Three of them occurred within the L2 beat, which includes the Dennis Avenue area south of Arcola Avenue.

Vehicle larcenies

*Twenty-one vehicle larcenies were reported in the period. Five each occurred within the K1 beat, which includes the upper Georgia and Connecticut avenue corridor, and the L1 beat, which includes the Arcola Avenue area east of Georgia Avenue.

Rockville district

Vehicle larcenies

*Sigsbee Road and Wyconda Road at Schuykill Road, between Dec. 19 and Dec. 20. Two incidents; one vehicle window shattered. Police say a male suspect was wearing a black knit hat and a brown jacket.

Silver Spring district

Armed robberies

*Dec. 21: A man with a knife committed an armed robbery 2:30 a.m. at University Boulevard and September Lane. No information was provided. The robber was black; no further description was provided.

*Dec. 26: Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed a victim 9 p.m. in the 11200 block of Lockwood Drive. No further information was provided. The robbers were black and were seen in a white mini-van.

Armed carjacking

*Dec. 24: A man armed with a baseball bat took a vehicle from a victim 4:30 a.m. at Carroll Avenue and University Boulevard. Police did not provide any information about the vehicle or the victim. The carjacker was Hispanic; no further description was provided.

Strong-arm robberies

*Dec. 26: Two men committed a strong-arm robbery against a victim 3:10 a.m. in the 8400 block of Colesville Road. Police provided no further details. The men were black; no further description was provided.

*Dec. 24: A pizza deliveryman was robbed by five males about 2:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Thayer Avenue. The robbers were black; no further description was provided.

*Dec. 23: A man committed a strong-arm robbery 10:18 a.m. in the 8600 block of Piney Branch Road. Police provided no further information about the victim or the robbery. The robber was black; no further description was provided.

*Dec. 22: Four males robbed a victim 12:20 a.m. in the 14000 block of Castle Boulevard. The robbers were black; no further details were provided.

Robberies

Police listed these incidents by time and location but provided no further details:

*December Drive, 1500 block, 9:17 a.m. Police have a suspect.

*Shanandale Drive, 2800 block, between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

*Carters Grove Court, between 6 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Dec. 21.

*Stewart Lane, 11400 block, between 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

*Hershfield Court, 2600 block, between 8 a.m. and 8:41 a.m.

Aggravated assault

*Dec. 21: Police said a victim was shot with a BB gun but not seriously injured 4:30 p.m. at a playground at 1940 Rosemary Hills Drive. Police have identified a suspect. No further details were provided.

*Police reported three aggravated assaults from the H1 beat, which includes east Silver Spring including the Piney Branch Road and Carroll Avenue area. They provided no details on the assaults, including the locations, but the assaults involved knives.

Commercial burglaries

*Fourth-floor offices of 8737 Colesville Road, between Dec. 19 and Dec. 20.

*Fehr’s Nursery, 4340 Sandy Spring Road, between Dec. 20 and Dec. 21.

*Public Storage, 3351 Briggs Chaney Road, between Dec. 23 and Dec. 24.

Residential burglaries

*First Avenue, 8700 block, between Dec. 16 and Dec. 22.

*Stateside Drive, unit block, between 7:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Dec. 24.

*Lansdale Court, 3800 block, 4:20 p.m. Dec. 19. Police are looking for two black males, between 17 and 20 years old.
