Inez Monson Woltz

Inez Monson Woltz, 85, of Gaithersburg died Dec. 30, 2007, at the Montgomery Village Health Care Center.

Born a twin on Nov. 1, 1922, in Amalga (Smithfield) Cache County, Utah, she was a daughter of the late Ezra Parkinson and Roxie LaPreal Clapp Monson.

She was the wife of the late Ralph Woltz II.

Mrs. Woltz worked as a head bookkeeper at a bank, decorated store windows of women’s specialty stores and worked as an office manager.

She is survived by three daughters, Beverly Kines of Monrovia, Janet Johnson and husband Eric of Abbottstown, Pa., and Gloria Poulsen and husband C. Eric of Damascus; and 20 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph Woltz III and Douglas Woltz; two sisters, LaPreal Smith and her twin, Ina Green; and a son-in-law, Michael Kines.

A funeral service was held Jan. 5, 2008, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Germantown. Burial followed at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood.
