Germantown police report

The following is a summary of incidents in the upcounty to which the Montgomery County Police responded recently. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Aggravated assault

On Dec. 22, in the 22400 block of Frederick Road in Germantown, the result of a relationship the victim had with one of the four suspects’ girlfriend. The suspects attacked the victim with heavy objects. The victim fled and was not injured.

Attempted robbery

On Dec. 23 at 1:15 p.m., in the 21000 block of Frederick Road in Germantown. The victim was getting into his car in the parking lot of a commercial establishment when the intoxicated male suspect approached demanding money. The victim pushed the suspect away. A black male drove up in a van and helped the suspect into the vehicle. They drove off without obtaining any property. Suspect No. 1 was described as a white male, 30-40, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 pounds, blond hair. Suspect No. 2 was described as a black male, 30-40, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 pounds. The suspect vehicle was described as a 2008 white Chrysler van.

Dec. 25 at 9:50 a.m., in front of Pizza Hut, 19733 Frederick Road in Germantown. The victim was walking to a bus stop when the suspects approached from behind and assaulted him. They searched the victim’s pockets and fled with his personal property. The suspects were describe as two young black males.

Vehicle larceny

Homestead Suites Hotel, 20121 Century Blvd. in Germantown in the early morning hours of Dec. 21. Forced entry to three vehicles, property taken.

Hampton Inn, 20260 Goldenrod Lane in Germantown, between Dec. 20 and Dec. 21. Thefts from two vehicles in the parking lot.

Appledowre Way and Appledowre Circle in Germantown between Dec. 23 and Dec. 24. Forced entry to four vehicles, property taken.

Commercial burglary

The Clarksburg Grocery, 23329 Frederick Road in Clarksburg between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Dec. 22. Forced entry, property taken. The suspect left his wallet behind and is seen on the store’s security video.

Residential burglary

13200 block of Bristlecone Way in Germantown, at approximately midnight on Dec. 22. A neighbor saw a subject jump from a balcony. An exterior glass door had been broken, no entry gained.

Graffiti

In the early morning hours of Dec. 23 on Falling Star Court and Steeple Court in Germantown. Possible suspects have been identified.
