The following is a summary of incidents in Bethesda to which Montgomery County police responded recently. The words ‘‘arrested” and ‘‘charged” do not imply guilt.

Aggravated assault

*On Dec. 21: At 4:30 p.m. at the playground at 1940 Rosemary Hills Drive in Silver Spring. The victim was shot with a BB gun, but he was not seriously injured. The suspect fled. He has been identified.

Attempted commercialburglary

*On Dec. 21: At 2:30 a.m. in the office building located at 2 Wisconsin Circle in Chevy Chase. A male suspect was seen trying to force entry. The suspect was located and detained.

Vehicle larceny

*8300 block of Twin Forks Lane in Chevy Chase at 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 24. After observing two suspects running away from her garage, the female victim discovered personal property had been stolen out of her vehicle. The vehicle’s doors were unlocked. Suspect No. 1 as described as a black male, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, crew cut. Suspect No. 2 was described only as a white male.

*Hampton Mill Terrace, between Dec. 19 and 23. Front seats were taken out of a 2002 Honda. No suspects were seen.

Commercial burglary

*Bergmann’s Cleaners, 10540 Metropolitan Ave. in Kensington, between Dec. 22 and 24. Forced entry; property taken.

*Washington Gas, 5143 River Road in Bethesda, between Dec. 18 and 19. Forced entry; nothing taken.

*White Flint Mall, between Dec. 19 and 20. Forced entry to a food kiosk; property taken.

Residential burglary

*4800 block of Drummond Avenue in Chevy Chase, between Dec. 22 and 23. Forced entry; property taken.

*7500 block of Royal Dominion Drive in Chevy Chase, between Dec. 23 and 24. Forced entry; unknown if property taken.

*10900 block of Brewer House Road in Rockville, during the day on Dec. 21. Forced entry; property taken.
