Within walking distance of the community pool and tennis courts and near the winding walking trail, this colonial home sits in a neat cul-de-sac. The brickwork on the home's exterior has patterned designs that give it an elegant appearance.
Inside, a two-story foyer welcomes a visitor into the home, with hardwood floors under foot. Just to the right of the entrance is a set of French doors that lead into a study or office room.
This kitchen has hardwood cabinets and inset lighting to illuminate the counters. A center island is home to a stove top with a bit of overhang counter space, perfect for stools.
Attached to the kitchen is an open breakfast area, with a sliding door leading out to the spacious top level of a two-tiered back deck. The bottom tier is smaller, but still generously sized.
At ground level, a stone walkway leads out to a stone patio sitting out before the woods, through which a creek runs. The woods themselves are on protected land and cannot be developed.
Back inside, a wooden railing separates the breakfast area from the family room. At the far end of the room sits a fireplace with a wooden mantle framed by tall windows. There is also a laundry room here, just behind the breakfast space, as well as a half bathroom in the front hall.
A carved wood railing leads up the stairs into the second floor. There are three square-shaped bedrooms on this floor, each with a double closet. A full bathroom can also be accessed from the main hall with ceramic tile and a combined shower and bath.
The master bedroom is composed of a couple of different rooms. A set of double doors opens out into the first of them, which is a large room with a high ceiling and is currently being used as an office space.
A small door from this room leads out onto a shelf sitting over the front door in the main foyer, making it easy to access it for decoration. A private bathroom is attached to this room, with an oval soaking tub and a walk-in shower.
A window looks out into the back of the home. The toilet is housed in a separate room. The bedroom itself has a large tray ceiling as well as a sitting area off to one side. There are also two walk-in closets.
The home also has a finished basement. The stairs open out into a room with a custom bar installed. It has a tile countertop as well as a lower counter and sink behind. Inset lighting overhead illuminates the area.
Beyond the bar is a large, long family room with large windows on the walls and inset lighting illuminating the far end. The near end of the room has much more overhead lighting, an excellent space for a pool table.
There are two bedrooms in the basement, one of which is behind the living room, and is currently being used as an office and gym. The other is located right next to the stairs. There is also a full bathroom with a combined shower and bath.
