The secretary of the Department of Disabilities has been getting high marks on the campaign trail as Ehrlich’s running mate, and if Ehrlich is re-elected, her status as lieutenant governor will encourage speculation that she is the heir to his throne. The question then becomes: Is the GOP ready to elect a relative unknown who grew up in Utah as Maryland’s governor?
