It is designed to provide you with everything at a glance that you need to know about the Maryland marketplace; I'm talking stats, trends, and lists representing some of the strongest and fastest growing industries that help make Maryland a dynamic state.

In this publication, you will see population trends, people quick facts, household incomes, career and workforce information, a state banking performance summary and residential sales information.. Like lists?

There are oodles: commercial real estate brokers, incubators, Chambers of Commerce, economic development contacts, nonprofits, colleges and universities, bioscience companies, fast-50 technology firms, hospitals and hotels. Of course somebody needed to research all of this, so we thank Maria Lampos on our team for her help!

In 2008, Market Facts was named best business special section once again by the Suburban Newspapers of America. So, we had to make certain that this publication was even better for 2009. We've published every page in full color and added new categories like accounting, legal, environmental and arts and humanities. We printed 25,000 copies, so, yes,there are 24,999 more of these out there and they are going to the subscribers of The Gazette of Politics & Business, Maryland Department of Economic Development, economic development agencies throughout Maryland, and to all of our partners and advertisers.
