Few leads in Oxon Hill homicide

Police are looking for two suspects that may have been involved in an Oxon Hill shooting that left one young man dead.

Tyrone Jackson, 20, of Oxon Hill died around 7 p.m. on Jan. 6 after being shot multiple times in his upper body in the 5000 block of Indian Head Highway.

Witnesses reported seeing two suspects flee the scene on foot, but no description has yet been released, according to police spokesman Diane Richardson.

"Weíre still interviewing the witnesses and investigating," Richardson said. "No motive has been established yet."

Anyone with information about the case can call the Prince Georgeís County Police Departmentís Homicide Unit at 301-772-4925. Anonymous tips can be given at 866-411-TIPS. A cash reward of $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
