Prince George’s County police have identified the suspect in a District Heights homicide-suicide that left two women and a man dead Friday.

Police believe Leroy Johnson Jr., 45, of Oxon Hill fired a gun at his wife, Angela Lynette Johnson, of Oxon Hill, and Zonita Monia Roberts, 42, of Georgia in a domestic-related shooting before turning the weapon on himself, according to a police statement.

Police said they are still seeking a motive.

Police responded to the report of a shooting at the 1500 block of Addison Road South in District Heights around 5 p.m. Friday and found the three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.

One of the women was pronounced dead on the scene, while Johnson and the other woman were transported to area hospitals where they both died a short time later, police said.

Anyone with information about this incident can call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s homicide unit at 301-772-4925.
