Prince George’s County Government offices, with the exception of public safety agencies, will be closed on Friday in observance of Independence Day.

The Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill in Upper Marlboro, including electronics recycling and hazardous waste acceptance; the Missouri Avenue Solid Waste Acceptance Site in Brandywine and the Prince George’s County Yard Waste Composting Facility in Upper Marlboro will also be closed.

There will be no by-appointment bulk trash collection Friday and collection will resume Monday.

There will also be no county trash or curbside recycling collection. Collection will resume on the next regularly-scheduled collection day.

County-operated transportation system The Bus and the county’s Call-A-Bus program, including senior transportation services, will not operate Friday. Normal route service will resume Monday.

Prince George’s County Click 3-1-1 service call center will also be closed and will resume normal operations Monday, however residents may still submit service or issue requests online via the call center’s website, countyclick.princegeorgescountymd.gov.
