Students of Clarksburg High School lined up to receive their diplomas Friday at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg. Fasika Delessa was the student speaker selected, and English Teacher Yaseman Mirmozaffari also addressed the class. Mirmozaffari was chosen by the students as their speaker. She taught them 11th grade English. The graduating class included 459 students.

“Our graduation celebrations always serve as the pinnacle of our school year and this one was no exception. The class of 2014 will be remembered for its enthusiastic spirit and unwavering commitment to our vision of leadership, scholarship and relationships,” Principal James Koutsos wrote in an email to The Gazette.
