Earth Day art at Potomac Library
Several children, including Potomac’s Lauren Safra, 9, celebrate Earth Day on Tuesday by creating decorated flower pots at the Potomac Library.
Children ages 8 and older gathered Tuesday to celebrate Earth Day at the Potomac Library by creating fancy flower pots and making crepe-paper flowers. Earth Day was first celebrated on April 22 in 1970 to call attention to environmental concerns.
