Science and fun went hand-in-hand Sunday at the 25th Rockville Science Day at Montgomery College’s Rockville campus.

The free event was organized by the Rockville Consortium for Science, Inc. and was co-sponsored by the City of Rockville, Montgomery College, and the Rockville Science Center. Rockville Science Day is the opening program to a month-long celebration of STEM — science, technology, engineering, and mathematics — activities in April. An official satellite event, Rockville Science Day begins the celebration that culminates on the weekend of April 26-27 with the National Science & Engineering Festival at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
