Damascus Community Bank is now accepting applications for its annual college scholarship awards. Applications must be received or postmarked by April 15.

The Larry L. Moxley Memorial Scholarship is for $2,500, and the Community Bank Business Scholarship is for $1,500.

The scholarships are awarded to high school seniors who are majoring in business and plan on earning a two- or four-year degree. Applicants may apply for both, but the scholarships will be awarded to two different students.

Eligible are graduating seniors from Damascus and Clarksburg high schools, plus Urbana, Linganore and Oakdale high schools in Frederick County and South Carroll High School in Carroll County.

Applications are available at each school and each branch of Damascus Community Bank. Branch locations are at yourdcb.com.

Completed applications should be mailed to Damascus Community Bank, c/o Laurence Martinez, 26500 Ridge Road, Damascus, MD 20872, or emailed to lmartinez@yourdcb.com.

The bank’s Scholarship Committee will announce the selections in May.

For more information, contact Martinez at 301-482-2400 or lmartinez@yourdcb.com.
