Diners who are hungry to taste the Belgian eats of Brasserie Beck will soon get the chance, as chef and owner Robert Wiedmaier plans to open the second location of the restaurant in the Kentlands in early spring.
The restaurant has set up a Facebook page to keep the community informed on the renovation process and the opening. Visit facebook.com/brasseriebeckkentlands to read restaurant updates.
With a location already in Washington, D.C., Brasserie Beck is known for its extensive Belgian beer list, mussels, beef carbonnade, steak and frites, tagliatelle with wild boar ragu and other entrees.
The restaurant, at 311 Kentlands Blvd., will occupy the space formerly belonging to O’Donnell’s Sea Grill, which had been a longtime community staple.
Wiedmaier’s RW Restaurant Group also includes Mussel Bar & Grille in Bethesda, Arlington and Atlantic City, Wildwood Kitchen in Bethesda, Brabo in Alexandria, and Marcel’s and Brasserie Beck in Washington, D.C.
