A major home furnishing store chain will soon bring its design sense to Gaithersburg.

HomeGoods is set to open a new location in the Quince Orchard shopping center, on the corner of Quince Orchard and Clopper roads, according to Gaithersburg Economic Development Director Tom Lonergan.

Federal Realty owns the 23,672-square-foot space that will house the HomeGoods store, according to the company’s website, federalrealty.com.

HomeGoods representatives could not be reached for comment Monday.
