The Metropolitan Ballet Theatre recently received a $100,850 grant through Montgomery County’s Capital Improvements Program.

The grant was one of 12 that were awarded to various arts and humanities organizations.

The arts education nonprofit, at 10076 Darnestown Road, Rockville, is planning to move to a new building in Gaithersburg this spring. The new facility will be at 220 Perry Parkway, with more than 7,700 square feet of space and including three large class studios.
