High school sophomores and juniors interested in participating in the Lazarus Leadership Fellows Program have until Jan. 3 to submit their applications.
The program, now in its 18th year, gives students an opportunity to learn from community leaders in a series of 10 seminars in the spring. Each Lazarus fellow also completes a 200-hour community service project during the summer.
Based at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, the program is open to students who live in or attend school, public or private, in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area. A brochure describing the program and the application are posted under activities on the school’s website, montgomeryschoolsmd.org/schools/bcchs/activities/lazarus.aspx.
