Despite the snow, the Sandy Spring Museum’s annual Frosty and Friends holiday party went on as planned Sunday afternoon.

“It was more of a winter wonderland than usual,” said Allison Weiss, the museum’s executive director. “This is one of those things that everyone looks forward to every year — it’s become part of the fabric of the community.”

The family-friendly event included a model train show, a handmade miniature circus, a gingerbread house display, holiday treats, crafts, a Kids Only shop, and visits from Santa, Rudolph and Frosty.
