Taste Gastropub in Olney sponsored its second annual Thanksgiving dinner for the Jubilee Association of Maryland on Nov. 20. They served 85 adult clients with developmental disabilities who did not have any place to go for the holiday.

This year’s event was hosted by ABC 7’s Eileen Whelan, and featured Claudia Gordon, White House liaison to the disability community, as a guest speaker during the dinner.

General manager Robert Bopst said the dinner included roast turkey, green beans, salad, stuffing, whipped potatoes, pumpkin pie and bread pudding.

Restaurant owner Victor Seested sits on the board of directors for the Jubilee Association.
