A Landover woman was arrested in connection with the death of Suitland resident Stefanie Anne Littlejohn, 30, who was found dead Nov. 19 in the 2400 block of Kent Village Place in Landover.

Deanna Marie Parker, 32, was arrested Nov. 21 in Washington, D.C., and is awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County, said Lt. William Alexander, a Prince George’s County police spokesman. Parker is a suspect in the death of Littlejohn, who was discovered at about 2:45 a.m. Nov. 19 after police responded to a report of a possible stabbing. Littlejohn suffered stabs wounds to her body, Alexander said.

Police believe Littlejohn’s death was the result of an argument between the two women, Alexander said.

Parker will be charged when she is extradited to Prince George’s County, Alexander said. Although he said the charges could change, officials are currently planning to charge her with first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure, he said.

A lawyer for Parker was not listed Friday afternoon.
