The Bel Cantanti Opera company will present “Rachmaninoff… Rachmaninoff... Rachmaninoff,” a concert of Russian romantic and operatic vocal music, at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Jewish Community Center, 6125 Montrose Road, Rockville. Accented by projections of Russian art from the 18th to the 21st century, the concert will feature performers Cristina Nassiff, Chantelle Grant, Ashley Alden, Gustavo Ahualli, Jeffrey Springer and Michal Celentano. “Moliere Impromptu” kicks off tonight at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center in Prince George’s County, reviving the 17th century playwright’s comic genius via a contemporary concoction of three short plays. In Fairfax, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Natalie York will open for Steve Fobert tonight at Jammin Java in Vienna, Va.
