The Gazette’s editorial does not shy away from justifying the endorsement of the “Team Rockville” slate [“For Team Rockville,” editorial, Oct. 23].

Many Rockville citizens are absolutely fed up knowing about the mayor and council in-fighting that does not respect civil discourse.

The pitifully low number of Rockville citizens that vote on Election Day will tell their elected mayor and councilmembers to “Get Into It.”

What if non-“Team Rockville” candidates get elected? Will the elected Rockville team honor commitments to preserve neighborhood integrity, manage growth without impacting school instruction and get better public parking in the city and county Central Business District so that, once again, Rockville is “The All-American City” — a place to settle litigation, administer government business and enjoy lunch or entertainment at dinner dates.
