Laurel residents trick or treat in downtown event on Thursday -- Gazette.Net


Halloween came a little early to Laurel’s historic Main Street, courtesy of the Laurel Board of Trade.

Thursday evening, the Board of Trade held its annual Trick or Treat on Main Street, where hundreds of ghosts, goblins and ghouls were invited to partake of special treats handed out by Laurel’s Main Street businesses.

The Laurel City Council, Laurel Police Department and volunteer fire and rescue members were also on hand to provide literature and treats.

The official City of Laurel Trick or Treat will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.
