Around 6 a.m. Friday morning, a truck hit a pedestrian bridge connecting the parking garage at the Wheaton Metro station to the Westfield Wheaton mall, knocking down a part of the bridge, said Ken Buckner, the mall’s marketing director.

No one was hurt, and the bridge has been closed until further notice, Buckner said.
