On September 27, 2013, our loved one, Theodore Ray Muse was called home to be with the Lord. He was the son of the late Louis and Iretha Muse of Halifax, VA.

Theodore faithfully served the residents of Montgomery County, as a letter carrier for the United States Post Office for over 31 years. His kind heart and warm smile quickly won the affection of the residents he served, his co-workers and community.

Thea was a member of Thomas Tabernacle Holiness Church of God in Frederick, MD, and New Zion Baptist church in Nathalie, VA. He was a man who showed and proved that with God all things are possible. He was one of those special people who radiated the Light and Love of God. He deeply touched the lives of just about everyone he came into contact with.

Theodore was preceded in death by his beloved sister Betty Gail Jordan and his granddaughter Kadijah Waliullah Gilbert. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Rebecca Muse, daughter Thealisha Muse, daughter Michelle Cook, sons Donald Ramey, Steven Tarbell, Thomas Kelly, Robert Tarbell, and God-daughter, Mondrea Jacobs. He is survived by his sisters: Lois Wallace, Geraldine Davis and Yetta Patterson, and his brothers: Tyrone Muse, Kevin Muse, Dwight Muse and Eric Muse. He also leaves to celebrate his life Mary Muse, several precious step-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and countless neighbors, friends, and co-workers.

Friends will be received by the family on Thursday, October 3, 2013, from 7-9pm at Thomas Tabernacle Holiness Church of God located at: 517 S Market St, Frederick, MD. Funeral services will be held at New Zion Baptist Church: 7107 Chatham Rd, Nathalie VA 24577.
