Montgomery County Police have released surveillance photos of two men who they believe robbed a fast food employee while she attempted to make a commercial deposit at the PNC Bank on Middlebrook Road in Germantown.

A Roy Rogers employee drove from the restaurant on Wisteria Drive to the bank to make a deposit for the business on Sept. 16. While walking toward the bank entrance around 9:53 a.m., one man grabbed her, pulled her to the ground and took the deposit bag, according to a police news release issued on Thursday.. The man was wearing a white baseball cap, gray sweatshirt and black shorts, according the news release issued.

That man then got into the passenger seat of a vehicle that was waiting in an adjoining parking lot, and left the scene, police said.

A second man, who was the driver, was wearing a gray and black sweatshirt with the number “38” and the words “Los Angeles” on the front, and the letters “LA” on the back, according to police.

From surveillance footage, police determined that both men were inside the Roy Rogers and bought food before the robbery. They have not said how much money was stolen.

Police are still trying to find the men, and are asking anyone with information to contact the Robbery Section at 240-773-5100.
